UPDATES AND NEAR-TERM FILING DUE DATES
The 2nd Qtr. 2025 Payroll Tax returns are due to be filed on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Quarterly sales tax returns are due September 20 for June, July and August 2025 sales
Your 2024 personal income tax returns are due no later than October 15, 2025 assuming you filed a valid extension by April 15, 2025
Advisory and compliance
- New business set-ups, if needed, registration as a Sales Tax Vendor, and discussing payroll from the perspectives of in-house processing or retaining a payroll company such as ADP or Paychex.
- Determining optimal business structure: Should you form a Limited Lability Company, a corporation, S Corporation., and the tax implications, benefits and detriments of each. Please be aware that when forming a new corporation, by default it is a C Corporation. You must file an election to have the entity taxed as an S Corporation. S Corporation income is taxed to its shareholders so generally it pays no corporation tax - but there are exceptions. Be sure to file an S Corporation election with the state tax departmen (provided the state accepts S Corp. elections)..

- Bookkeeping: manage daily transactions, or refer a bookkeeper experienced in accounting software products
